How I Configured my 23cm EME Station for PTT

Here is how I manage the PTT keying of my 23cm EME station.

Software/Equipment:  WSJT-X - Icom IC-9700 - AG6EE Power Amplifier/Preamp

WSJT-X controls the IC-9700 for PTT via CAT commands.

In WSJT-X under File | Settings | Advanced, I have "Tx delay" set to 0.4 seconds.

In the IC-9700 under Set> Function > TX Delay, it is left at the default of OFF for 1200M band.

Using the ACC1 connector on the rear of the IC-9700, I connect the SEND line through a relay to the PTT input on the AG6EE amplifier.  As the AG6EE amp has sequenced DC voltage to feed the preamplifier through the coaxial cable and the AG6EE preamp has a built-in relay and dummy load, I have no need for any other "outputs" from a traditional sequencer.
